Agents to Agency: A framework for fostering learner agency through contemporary curriculum, instruction, and assessment
Agents to Agency is a proven, measurable, and transparent framework for cultivating learner agency from kindergarten to postsecondary education. In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of agency in schools. Research clearly shows that when students have agency over their learning, they are more engaged, motivated, and successful. They take ownership of their learning, persist in the face of challenges, and develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-regulation.
As agency has become a top priority across Australia, the Agents to Agency framework has emerged as the blueprint for accomplishing this goal. It dramatically reduces teacher fatigue and improves learner outcomes, making it an effective solution for fostering agency across diverse needs and educational levels.
