CARS & STARS PLUS

The CARS and STARS Plus Program consists of three parts:

Placement Test
This determines the overall level of understanding each student has and what resources to purchase.

CARS (Comprehensive Assessment of Reading Strategies)
This series is used to assess the understanding of each strategy at the determined level (from the Placement Test).

STARS (Strategies to Achieve Reading Success)
A direct instruction reading comprehension series that provides differentiation, explicit teaching, immediate feedback, ongoing assessment, student data, development of metacognition skills and builds self-assessment for students for future goal setting.
