In 1985, David and Elaine Brownlow founded Hawker Brownlow Education as a wholly Australian-owned family company dedicated to publishing resources that address topical educational theory and issues. Their aim being to encourage innovative practice at all levels of the education system and across all key learning areas.

Books & Resources

We publish over 300 new titles and print over 100,000 books each year. Our team of in-house editors and graphic designers work together to publish the latest in educational practice and theory from local practitioners, as well as Australian editions of many international titles.
